Pope's Exorcist: Harry Potter Satanic
The Vatican's chief exorcist is no fan of Harry Potter.
Father Gabriele Amorth, who is Pope Benedict XVI's "caster out of demons," told Vatican Radio: "Behind Harry Potter hides the signature of the king of the darkness, the devil."

Rowling's books contain innumerable positive references to magic, "the satanic art" and added the books attempt to make a false distinction between black and white magic, when in fact, the distinction "does not exist, because magic is always a turn to the devil." I think "Harry Potter" is genius! My 9 yr old son and 5 yr old daughter love it, too. I've had a problem with a babysitter who forbids my children to discuss Harry Potter and other children favorites, saying that it is blasphemy, etc. I think that the Catholic church needs to get with the 21st century and realize that people have expanded their minds and will continue to teach their children to do so.
The "witchcraft and wizardry" of Harry Potter books is just a back drop anyway. The real story is that of friendship, responsibility, love, and a number of other things that would otherwise be considered good things.
