Reverence for Nature is Central to Wicca

Each spiritual path brings beauty and truth to the manifestation of life. As a new religious movement grounded in traditional wisdom, Wicca is continuously evolving along with the rest of our society in a time of much change. While we use some of the methods our ancestors employed, our beliefs, principles and values are also influenced by the modern age in which we live.

Like other nature-based religious paths, Wiccans believe that all beings are interdependent. The divine is immanent or indwelling within everything. Spirit pervades all life. Hence, reverence of nature is a central facet of our belief. Nature is sacred in every respect, and our core mysteries are the experiences of birth, life, death and rebirth.
